Sharer Studios was appointed to undertake a full ground floor renovation at Oaklands, transforming an underutilised space into a warm, welcoming home that works beautifully for modern family life.
The brief centred around creating two distinct yet harmonious zones, a sociable kitchen and dining area, and a relaxed family lounge, each with its own atmosphere and purpose whilst maintaining a sense of flow and connection throughout.
Bespoke kitchen cabinetry was introduced to maximise storage without compromising on style, resulting in a space that is as functional as it is considered.
A key move in the design was opening up the staircase, flooding the ground floor with natural light and introducing a sense of openness and volume that transformed the feel of the entire space. In the lounge, every detail was revisited and reimagined, creating an inviting sanctuary designed for family time, rest, and connection.
